Oh a treat for you folks today! I managed to find an old sprite of Nina that was nearly completed. There were quite a few mistakes and I managed to fix most of them. Color management was a bit tricky and forced me to be a bit creative. 16 colors total including the transparent background.
In any case, Breath of Fire 2 Nina is in my opinion the best Nina of the series and those black wings are to die for. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. Just curious, do you accept requests or commissions at all? I know of a character or two that could really stand out as a high-res sprite.
This way I am not obligated to do it, and if I choose to do it, I can do it when time permits me. For me personally, pixeling is a hobby and should not be a form of work. On a related side note, if the character is a bit obscure I might ask for reference pictures.

She has a couple of similarities with Nina, such as her dress being slitted on the left side, and a fair (but not excessive) amount of detail. She'd be a very good high-res sprite: higher than Nina, hopefully. Heck, anything is better than the original sprite sheet: [link]
